It had been over two decades since we last performed any kind of testing on our Eagle Tarp System, specifically our patented Track (we are the only retractable tarping system to have a patented tie-down rail built right into our track). We wondered if we still had the strongest track on the market after all these years. So, this summer at our Woodstock location in south-western Ontario, we dreamed up the perfect test of strength for our Track. We call it “The Crane Test”.
Using a 53-foot trailer, a Western Star tow truck, and only four track hooks attached to our patented tie down rail, we proceeded to lift the trailer off the ground.
