It’s easily attached and detached from the chain by the clevis pin and is available in a yellow zinc finish for that added corrosion resistance. It meets DOT/CVSA/CCMTA requirements. NOT for overhead lifting. It is heat treated ( Quench and tempered) and made our of forged alloy steel.
