Eagle Tarp All-Star Showdown – Rules

Effective Date: March 10, 2026 and updated March 20, 2026.
Sponsor: Verduyn Tarps Ltd. (“Sponsor”) 

Definitions 

“Voter” – An individual casting a vote in the contest.
“Nominated Company” – A business whose trailer has been selected by the Sponsor to compete.
“Trailer Entry” – The specific trailer submitted by a Nominated Company to participate in the contest. 

1. Eligibility

• The competition is open to businesses and companies within Canada and the United States that have been nominated by Verduyn Tarps for participation. 

• Employees, officers, directors, and representatives of Verduyn Tarps Ltd., its affiliates, subsidiaries, and any agencies or companies involved in the promotion are eligible to vote but may not be eligible to win prizes intended for nominated companies. 

• To enter on behalf of a business, the person must be an adult (18+) with the legal authority to represent the business and accept prizes. 

• Participants must agree to follow all contest rules. 

• Anyone prohibited by law from entering contests or receiving prizes is not eligible.

• This contest is not open to residents or businesses located in the Province of Quebec. Void in Quebec. Any entries received from Quebec residents or businesses will be disqualified.

• No purchase is necessary to enter, vote, or win. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. 

• No purchase or vote is necessary to enter the $400 Voter Prize draw. To enter without voting, mail a 3x5 card with your name, email address, and phone number to: 398 Kenora Avenue, Hamilton, ON L8E2W2 – Attn: All-Star Showdown Draw. Mail-in entries must be received by April 30, 2026. One mail-in entry per person per weekly round. Mail-in entries are pooled with all voting entries across all weeks. Odds of winning depend on total number of eligible entries received. Draw will be conducted on May 1, 2026. 

2. Contest Period

• The contest begins at 12:01 AM Eastern on March 20, 2026, and concludes on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 11:59 PM Eastern (subject to change at Sponsor’s discretion). 

• Voting totals reset at the beginning of each new weekly matchup round. Votes from previous rounds do not carry forward. Winners of weekly brackets will advance to the next round. 

3. How to Vote

• Each participant may vote at www.verduyntarps.com/showdown.

• Limit one (1) vote per email address per round. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify votes that appear to be generated by automated means, scripts, or fraudulent or abusive voting activity. Sponsor also reserves the right to disqualify a Trailer Entry if voting manipulation or other attempts to unfairly influence the contest are detected. 

• Participants may vote for any trailer featured in the weekly bracket. 

• Votes are cast by individuals, but prizes associated with nominated trailers are awarded to the company that owns or operates the nominated trailer. 

4. Voting Mechanics

• New matchups will be posted every Friday at 12:01AM Eastern on the contest website and announced via email and Verduyn Tarps’ social media channels. 

• Voting for each weekly bracket closes on Thursday at 11:59 PM Eastern. 

• Winners of each bracket will be announced via email and social media on the following business day. 

• Each vote cast also enters the voter into a $400 Verduyn Tarps gift store credit draw. 

Tie Resolution 

• In the event of a tie at the close of a voting period, the Sponsor reserves the right to determine the advancing entry using additional criteria or a random selection method. 

5. Prizes

Final Four Trailers: 

• 1st Place: $2,500 Verduyn Tarps store credit (ARV: $2,500 CAD / $2,500 USD) 

• 2nd Place: $1,000 Verduyn Tarps store credit (ARV: $1,000 CAD / $1,000 USD) 

• 3rd Place: $400 Verduyn Tarps store credit (ARV: $400 CAD / $400 USD) 

• 4th Place: $400 Verduyn Tarps store credit (ARV: $400 CAD / $400 USD) 

Voter Prize: 

• One voter will be selected at random from all eligible votes using a random selection method. The winner will receive a $400 Verduyn Tarps store credit (ARV: $400 CAD / $400 USD). 

Store Credit Redemption: 

• Store credit may be redeemed only for future purchases of Verduyn Tarps products; it cannot be applied to past invoices, quotes, or services already rendered. 

• Store credit must be redeemed within twelve (12) months of issuance unless otherwise required by law. 

• Store credit is valid only at the regional store location associated with the winner. Prize values are stated in the currency of the applicable region (CAD in Canada, USD in the United States): 

• Canadian winners: in-store at any Canadian location (CAD only) 

• U.S. winners: in-store at any U.S. location (USD only) 

• Store credit cannot be transferred or used at other locations or in other currencies. 

• Eligible products include: 

• Tarps – Custom & In-Stock 

• Cargo equipment 

• Accessories 

• Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash, except where required by law. 

6. Winner Notification

• Winners will be notified by email within three business days of the announcement. 

• Canadian winners of the Voter Prize draw must correctly answer, without assistance, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by the Sponsor before the prize will be awarded. The skill-testing question will be provided at the time of winner notification. 

• If a winner does not respond to the initial notification within three (3) business days, the Sponsor will make one (1) additional attempt to contact the winner using the same contact information provided at entry. 

• If the winner remains unreachable or does not claim their prize within seven (7) calendar days following the draw date of May 1, 2026 at 12:01 AM EST, the prize will be forfeited and the alternate winner will be the next eligible entry with the highest number of votes in the draw (i.e. the second-highest, then third-highest, and so on). The alternate winner will be subject to the same notification and response requirements. 

• Public announcement of winners may include the company name and the trailer featured in the competition. 

7. General Conditions

• The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who tampers with the entry process, violates these Rules, or engages in fraudulent behavior. 

• The Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or adjust matchups, voting schedules, or contest structure if necessary to ensure the integrity and fairness of the competition. 

• All decisions by the Sponsor regarding winners and interpretation of these Rules, voting validity, and contest administration are final and binding. 

• By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Verduyn Tarps Ltd., its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, employees, and agents from any liability related to participation or prize use. 

• Sponsor reserves the right to review vote activity and conduct an audit of voting data if irregular voting patterns are detected. 

• Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the contest if technical failures, fraud, or other factors impair the integrity of the competition. 

• Promotional Use: By participating, Nominated Companies grant the Sponsor permission to use submitted photos, trailer images, company names, and related materials for promotional, marketing, and contest-related purposes without additional compensation. 

• This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or any other social media platform. 

8. Privacy

• Personal information collected, including name and email addresses used for voting, during the contest will be used solely for contest administration, prize fulfillment, and communication purposes. 

• By participating, entrants consent to Verduyn Tarps using their name, company, and trailer for promotional purposes related to the contest. 

• Verduyn Tarps will comply with Canadian (PIPEDA) and U.S. privacy laws in the collection, use, and storage of personal information. 

• By clicking the Vote button on the contest voting page, participants expressly consent to receive future marketing and promotional communications from Verduyn Tarps Ltd. by email. This consent is captured at the time of voting via the voting page, which displays the following notice immediately adjacent to the Vote button: "By clicking 'Vote Now!', you agree to receive future marketing emails from Verduyn Tarps Ltd. You may unsubscribe at any time." Submission of a vote constitutes express consent to receive marketing communications and is separate from and will not affect a participant's eligibility to enter or win. Participants may withdraw their consent at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions included in any marketing email, or by contacting [email protected]. 

9. Limitation of Liability

• Sponsor is not responsible for: 

• Technical errors, lost, late, or misdirected votes or entries 

• Any technical failures or service interruptions related to third-party platforms used to host the voting system 

• Unauthorized access to the voting platform 

• Any injury, loss, or damage of any kind resulting from participation in the contest or use of prizes 

• All participants assume responsibility for any tax consequences associated with prizes. 

10. Dispute Resolution

• The contest is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these Rules limits or excludes any rights a participant may have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of their own province, state, or jurisdiction that cannot be waived by contract. 

• Any disputes shall first attempt to be resolved informally; if unresolved, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with applicable laws.
