Opening to front
Step 1
open rear door
Rope + Pulley Style
- Undo the 4" rubber straps.
- Hook bottom 4" strap and hook to chest handle on the side.
- Ensure hooks face outward to avoid scuffing tarp.
- Grab rope and pull down to roll up rear flap
- Once flap is open, wrap rope around rope hooks a couple of times to hold flap in place.
- Could excess rope and hook to rope hook to keep rope off the ground.
Crank Style
- Pull flap away from velcro
- Release crank handle via spring bolt
- Insert square bar on crank handle into square tubing in bottom of flap
- Crank handle to roll up rear door to about 18" from top of system
- Push flap up and away from system to flip the flap on top of tarp system
Step 2
release tension on ratchets
- Release the ratchet tension to give strap slack
- Pull the hook rod out of retainer
- Remove hook
- Repeat on other side
Opening to back
to prevent damage release tension at rear before opening front air-release

Step 1
release front air closure
- Ensure tension has been released at the back
- Move the air-closure lever from closed to open
Step 1.5 | for step-decks only
lock upper deck carts to lower deck carts
- Ensure the upper-deck cart is locked in to the lower deck cart.
- The locking pin should be in the indentation as seen on the video on both passenger-side and driver-side.
Closing
Step 1
Lock system to headboard
- Bring the front cart of the system up flush with the headboard
- Move the air-closure lever to the close position
- The video shows the opening process, but performing it in reverse will close the front of the system.
Step 1.5 | for step-decks only
release the upper deck carts
- Ensure the upper-deck cart locking pins are disengaged from the lower-deck cart on the passenger-side and driver-side.
- The locking pins should not be in the indentation as shown in the video.
- the video shows the opening process, but performing the steps in reverse will release the upper-deck carts from the lower-deck ones.
Step 2
pull system to back of trailer
- With the front of the system locked to the headboard, pull the tarp system closed by bringing the rear cart to the back of the trailer.
Step 3
tension rear ratchets
- Insert the strap hook into the rear cart hole, and secure the rod
- Pull the strap through the ratchet and down towards the trailer deck
- Hold securely and begin ratcheting
- Repeat on the other side
